Pastor Chuck Workman

In Genesis 16, Abram and Sarai grow impatient waiting on God’s promise of a son, leading Sarai to give her maid Hagar to Abram in an attempt to “help” fulfill God’s plan. Pastor Chuck explores the dangers of taking matters into our own hands when God seems delayed. It highlights how human solutions often create unintended pain and complications—seen in the conflict between Sarai and Hagar. The message challenges us to trust God’s timing and sovereignty, resisting the urge to force His promises into our own plans.
